Waiākea is proud to announce that we are the new official sponsor of the USA Water Polo Team
Huntington Beach, Calif. - July 26, 2013-- Fresh from the Big Island of Hawaii comes Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Water, the new official water of USA Water Polo. Originating through both snow and rain and filtered through the Mauna Loa volcano, Waiākea is one of the most alkaline natural waters on the planet as well as electrolyte rich. It is also known for its pioneering sustainable and charitable initiatives, most notably donating 650 liters to people in need in Africa for every liter sold. With an agreement running through the 2016 Olympic Games, Waiākea will be the official sponsor of the USA Water Polo National Teams, National Championships, and other special events.
USA Water Polo CMO Jen Rottenberg stated, “We are very excited to welcome this fast-growing, socially responsible company to our USA Water Polo sponsor community. Waiākea water is truly special, tastes great, and will be great for our athletes when rehydrating, whether they are members of our National Teams or participants in our Splashball™ programs!”
"USA Water Polo represents an incredible community and sport, both of which we felt aligned greatly with our core values. We look forward to seeing our relationship develop through the 2016 Olympic Games and even further into the future.” – Waiākea President Ryan Emmons
