Waiākea Ambassador Dillon Pakele's newest project - FAITH
Born on the Big Island and raised on the Westside of Oahu, Dillon Pakele learned early on the power of storytelling through music to stay connected to his Hawaiian roots and inspire others.
In 2020, Dillon released his first single entitled “Forgive Me” featuring the popular Polynesian artist, Fiji. In 2021, Dillon released his first video for “Forgive Me” and his second single, “Nothing Now”. Both songs are available on all digital platforms and will be featured on his newest project, the FAITH EP.
FAITH will be available on May 25, 2022, on all digital platforms. It's a symbolic date as it honors the second anniversary since his father, Kaulana Pakele, passed away. Kaulana was the lead singer of the Mana‘o Company, a founding member of Ehukai, and multi-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner.
The FAITH EP contains different types of musical genres from Island Reggae to Neo Soul/R&B. Listeners can stream two out of the six songs from the EP, which were previously released.
We are stoked to have supported Dillon's musical journey through our Kōkua Initiative since his days at the Kapena School of Music. Now we welcome him as an official ambassador with the Waiākea 'Ohana!
