DETOX WATER RECIPES TO TRY

While there are a ton of recipes out there to try, these are our favorites because they’re easy to make and super delicious, and refreshing.

CUCUMBER LEMON WATER

The ingredients required for this detox water recipe include:
  • Water
  • One lemon
  • Half a cucumber
  • A few sprigs of mint
  1. Wash the ingredients.
  2. Place the cucumber and lemon inside a water jug.
  3. Filling the jug with water, mix it all together and leave it in the fridge overnight.

You can keep filling the jug with more water as you drink it until it’s time to change the ingredients. The lemon helps in improving your digestion and helps your skin maintain a beautiful glow!

GINGER MINT WATER

Ginger contains anti-inflammatory goodness. Anti-inflammatory ingredients are reported to help with joint and immune health. You need:
  • 1 gallon of water
  • A thinly-sliced cucumber
  • About 10-12 fresh mint leaves
  • Two inches of fresh and peeled ginger root
  • Two lemon wedges
  • A pinch of Himalayan salt.
  1. Mix the ingredients in a glass container, gently stirring them all with a wooden spoon.
  2. Lastly, refrigerate it for around three to four hours.

STRAWBERRY BASIL WATER

  • A handful of basil leaves
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • Juice squeezed from half a lemon

MANGO, LEMON, AND PINEAPPLE WATER

Pineapple contains an anti-inflammatory enzyme known as bromelain that is good for your body.6 Mangoes, on the other hand, aid in improving your digestion, flattening your tummy and helping you feel less bloated. Take:
  • Water
  • A few slices of lemon
  • Little cubes of pineapple and mango.

SEASONAL WATERS

Based on the seasonal changes, the Ayurvedic properties of these recipes help in creating a balance between nature and the individual. The summer recipe cools your body down, the spring recipe has warming and anti-inflammatory effects, and the winter formula has warming and sweet ingredients that keep your body warm during the cold season. The ingredients required for the fall and winter detox water are:
  • Orange slices
  • A cinnamon stick
  • Cardamon pods for the fall or winter season.
The ones needed for summer are:
  • Fennel
  • Mint
  • Coriander
  • Lime
  • Cumin.
For spring, you will need:
  • Fresh ginger and turmeric
  • Slices of lemon
  • Cinnamon sticks
