Kolten Wong
Second Baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers, Kolten Wong, is a Hilo-native and Waiākea investor. He grew up in Hilo, Hawaii and attended Kamehameha High School, where he played baseball, football, and track. He went on to play college baseball at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. In 2013, he debuted his MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals, where he played for nine years before becoming a free agent. Shortly after, he joined the Milwaukee Brewers. Just last year, Kolten won his second consecutive Gold Glove Award, an award given to players considered to have exhibited superior individual fielding performances. Off the field, Kolten is a Make-A-wish Foundation supporter and enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping.
