Klay Thompson
Considered to be one of the greatest shooters in NBA History, Klay Thompson has played all of his highlight reel career with the Golden State Warriors, who drafted him with the 11th pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft. A 3x NBA Champion, his accolades on the court also include 2x All-NBA Third Team and NBA All-Defensive Team, and an Olympic Gold Medal during the US Men's National Basketball Team's run in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Klay and his brothers were destined for athletic achievements as the sons of former NBA Champion and Los Angeles Laker great Mychal Thompson and Julie Thompson, who played college volleyball with the University of Portland and University of San Francisco. His older brother Mychel briefly played in the NBA and younger brother Trayce, is an MLB outfielder, having played this past season with the Chicacgo Cubs. This family dedication to health, fitness, and athletics is part of the misison at The Thompson Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization Klay is a part of, which helps youth on the continental US, The Bahamas, and now here in Hawai'i with Waiākea.
