Mālama Hawai‘i

Mahalo to our community for reaching out with donation requests in the aftermath of the catastrophic flooding due to the recent Kona Low storms.

Since this emergency began, our Kōkua Initiative and the Waiākea team have been actively working to facilitate the distribution of emergency supplies to the communities throughout the islands that have been impacted and we will continue to do so as the response continues.

To ensure that resources are distributed thoughtfully and efficiently, we are working through the following coordinated partners.

On O‘ahu, we are supporting efforts through the Hawai‘i Foodbank, HFIA, the Department of Emergency Management, and The Salvation Army. On Hawai‘i Island, water is being distributed in partnership with the County of Hawai‘i, The Food Basket and Vibrant Hawai‘i.

This approach helps us ensure that support reaches those who need it most. We will continue to support efforts with the other neighbor islands as well.

Mahalo nui loa for your understanding and for all that you are doing for our communities.
