Kamu Grugier-Hill

Papakolea, Hawaii native, Kamu Grugier-Hill, is an NFL player currently with the Houston Texans. He attended Waiākea Elementary School and grew up in Kona, then moved to Oahu and attended Kamehameha High School, where he played soccer and volleyball. He didn't play football until his junior year and was a first-team All-Interscholastic League selection as a linebacker. After spending parts of his life on the Big Island and Oahu, he went on to play college football at Eastern Illinois where he played four seasons and earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors in his final two years there. He debuted his professional career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019 and played four seasons with them. During his time with the Eagles, he earned a Super Bowl LII ring following their 2017-18 championship season. From there, he joined the Miami Dolphins for one season. Now, Kamu is a linebacker with the Houston Texans and has a passion for giving back to Hawaii.
