Role: Content Creator / Partnerships & Events Manager

Location: Hawai’i (Preferably Oahu or Big Island)

We are seeking a Content and Social Producer that will be responsible for creating content to be used on our website, socials, ads, and more. You possess great communication skills, are a creative thinker, strategic planner, and up-to-date with current digital trends. This position will work closely with the Marketing Team to create digital assets to use cross-platform. 

Description: This role has two parts. 1. Create modern, compelling content that showcases and explains the many facets of the Waiākea brand in a way that makes casual social users want to engage with a water brand. Content that will take us from 100k followers to the next level. 2. Facilitate new partnerships and collabs and help plan or cover events we sponsor as a marketing team or for our award-winning Kōkua Initiative**. 

Responsibilities:

• Learn, understand, and speak everything about Waiakea from the volcanic filtration to all of our Kōkua projects
• Curate in-house content and storytelling from our brand’s perspective. This can include content from our HQ, our source, neighbor islands, retail presence, partnerships, employees, and more
• Create and manage content calendar at least one month in advance (with flexibility for timely content)
• Produce 2-3 reels or posts per week
• Day-to-day management of social media handles engaging with ambassadors, companies, and other relevant handles
• Maintain current partnerships to maximize content and strategically expand partners over time 
• This may include hosting visitors and capturing content while doing it
• Will include event support and occasional weekend work or travel
• Collaborate with Marketing Team on upcoming promotions to create surrounding content
• Track and calculate content KPIs to improve content production and strategy 
• Organize digital asset management folders

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years experience in Marketing Field or similar 
• 2+ years experience managing people/projects (preferred)
• 2+ years proven experience in content creation and digital marketing
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 / year + amazing benefits
